Backgammon instructions
Backgammon instructions are pretty clear-cut and once you have learned and understood the fundamental concept of the game. Learning the rules of how to play backgammon is the easy part it is widening a strong strategy that needs practice and skill.
First, this is a game played by two people. Each player has a set of 15 checkers that are arranged on the backgammon board along 24 triangles known as points in a mirror picture of each other. The board consists of 4 quadrants that each have 6 points and the player must shift the checkers across these points in clockwise motion until they finally have all their own checkers in the homeboard (the quadrant furthest away from the starting point). Each player shakes and rolls the set of dice and the checkers are moved in line with the combinations they are able to form with the dice numbers being exhibited after the roll.
You move in relation to the dice roll. It is otherwise called as the pip count. For highly developed players there is also something called the doubling cube which permits the player to challenge the rival to double the bets of the game. If the opponent declines then he loses. The doubling cube is generally used in advanced competitive backgammon being played for real money. You will require developing your knowledge of useful backgammon strategies and tips in order to make the best judgments based on any number of possible circumstances through the various stages of the game.
